Updated 9th of September 2020

Thank you to all those customers who stayed with us over the summer months and helped to ensure that our park offered a safe and relaxing break to everyone.

As we move out of high season and into September we wanted to remind customers that the pool is now closed.

New social distancing laws on the "rule of six" announced today states:

You should not go on holiday in England with people you do not live with (or who are not in your support bubble) in a group larger than 6 people from 14 September, when a new legal gathering limit comes into force. Doing so will be against the law. You should ensure you maintain social distancing with anyone you do not live with or is not in your support bubble.

Therefore these additional conditions will apply to all bookings staying with us this year:

  • There continues to be is a maximum of six people per pitch permitted, and these must all be from the same household (as its tricky to stay 2m apart on the same pitch)

  • We can accept a maximum of two pitches booked together, but there must now be no more than 6 people in total, across both pitches. You must stay 2m apart from anyone not in your household.

  • We do not accept group bookings for the static caravans

  • Those staying in a static caravan must be from the same household.

Support bubbles: In England you can only form a support bubble (and essentially make a household) if you are a single adult and are joining another household. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/making-a-support-bubble-with-another-household

Please be aware that any online bookings made that do not meet these conditions will unfortunately be cancelled.

Local Lockdowns

We are understandably unable to take bookings from customers living in those areas under local lockdown where travel restrictions may apply.

The Campsite Shop & Reception

Although access to our small shop will be restricted and our range is smaller this year we will be opening at 9am to 10am each morning for any essentials like milk, bacon, tea and coffee.

In low season reception is also open for check-ins from 2pm to 5pm (please ring the bell if you arrive after 5pm).

We are a quick stroll to Prima bakery which is open 7 days a week for bread, cakes and of course Cornish pasties!

Our local farm shop, Etherington's, is just a 2 min drive away. You can find out more about them out beforehand at:

 https://www.etherington-meats.co.uk/etheringtons-farm-shop-in-cornwall/

To avoid overloading local supermarkets it is recommended that you stock up as far as possible before arrival. If you need more shopping whilst you are here your information pack will also contain a list of local shops.

Food deliveries

Supermarket Deliveries

Delivery vans should not drive onto the site, please ensure that you arrange to meet the driver at reception

Takeaway food deliveries

We would be grateful if guests aim to collect any take-away food rather than have it delivered to the site. If you do have it delivered, you will need to meet the driver in the car-park by reception, as we can't take in any food on your behalf.

Thank you for your understanding, support and patience. I am sure that by working together we can ensure that you all have a lovely break.  In the meantime if you have any queries or would like more information please do not hesitate to contact us by email or telephone. Email is the best way as we are often out working on the park.
