We are a quiet and traditional campsite, with facilities to help make your stay with us relaxing and enjoyable. We don't have any onsite entertainment or indoor games rooms - everything available here is out in the fresh Cornish air. Our customers come back year after year, for the great location, scenic views, friendly environment and the space you need to switch-off and enjoy yourselves.
The centrally located shower block is newly refurbished and has a family shower room and a wet room. There is a free hairdryer in the ladies and privacy cubicles in both the gents and ladies. The washing up room has a coin operated washing machine and dryer, and a freezer for camping ice blocks. There is also a dedicated wetsuit and dog wash, plus a chemical toilet disposal point. We don't have a drive over motorhome service point so recommend that motorhomes bring an ancillary waste carrier to take any grey waste water to a disposal point. Our facilities are not currently wheelchair accessible so please do contact us to discuss any additional needs you have and we will do our best to help you.
Everyone loves our heated outdoor pool! Open in May half term (27th May - 5th June) and high season (15th July - 4th Sept), customers can book individual sessions in the pool for their family so that they can enjoy time together (bring as many inflatables as you can carry!). You will be given the link to book the pool in your pre-arrival email. The children's playground is in the bottom field. And walking or cycling is a must - we are directly on the coast to coast path with a variety of trials for all abilities close by. Just ask at reception for an information pack.
Our small on site shop is open daily and stocked full of camping treats plus the essentials - gorgeous local Roddas milk and butter (plus fudge and shortbread), local eggs and Etherington's bacon. Prima bakeries is a short stroll away and open 7 days a week, and the award winning Etherington's farm shop is a 2 minute drive from the campsite.
The internet into the village is slow, and so our WiFi is often non-existent. Therefore whilst here you will need to be able to use your own data to get online, and as we are in a Cornish valley the mobile data signal varies depending on your provider. We therefore recommend you download any films or books before you arrive, remind your teenagers that they might not have snapchat (sorry) and expect to have some social media free time whilst you are here.
We do have amazing sunsets though.....
