We are a quiet and traditional campsite, with facilities to help make your stay with us relaxing and enjoyable. We don't have any onsite entertainment or indoor games rooms - everything available here is out in the fresh Cornish air. Our customers come back year after year, for the great location, scenic views, friendly environment and the space you need to switch-off and enjoy yourselves.
The centrally located shower block is newly refurbished and has a family shower room and a wet room. There is a free hairdryer in the ladies and privacy cubicles in both the gents and ladies. The washing up room has a washing machine and dryer, and a freezer for camping ice blocks. There is also a dedicated wetsuit and dog wash, plus a chemical toilet disposal point.
Everyone loves our heated outdoor pool! Open in high season, customers can book individual sessions in the pool for their family so that they can enjoy time together (bring as many inflatables as you can carry!). The children's playground is in the bottom field, away from cars. And walking or cycling is a must - we are directly on the coast to coast path with a variety of trials for all abilities close by. Just ask at reception for an information pack.
Our small on site shop is open daily in high season, and stocked full of camping treats plus the essentials - gorgeous local Roddas milk and butter, St Ewe eggs and Etherington's bacon. Prima bakeries is a short stroll away and open 7 days a week, and the award winning Etherington's farm shop is a 2 minute drive from the campsite.
The quality of our WiF is limited by the slow broadband connection in this part of Cornwall. And, as the Park is within a Cornish Valley, phone, 3G, 4G, Sky and digital radio and television signals are not always available and at times you may not have any signal. There is very little we can do to change this without passing on huge charges to customers so please enjoy the chance to be away from it all and remember to download any books or movies before you arrive! You may have a better data signal near the reception area at the top of the park, but in an emergency please do ask at reception for help.
We do have amazing sunsets though.....
