Campsite Prices

​Our  prices are based on pitch size and include 2 people, one unit and one car per pitch.  The pitch price includes electric hook up and an awning. Extra people/children, dogs and cars are charged accordingly, and please be aware that any extra cars must be parked in the car-park by reception for the duration of your stay and not on your pitch.

As a quiet family orientated park we take bookings from couples and families only.

As we are a small family run business, we are not always in the office to answer your call or enquiry so it is best to book or check availability online.  With any other queries please do leave a message on our voicemail or preferably send an email and we will reply as soon as we can.

Most of our pitches are grass but we do have some gravel all weather pitches in standard and large sizes. You can choose which surface you would like on our booking page, but  please consider booking a gravel pitch if you have a motorhome, campervan or caravan. 


Standard sized pitches are a minimum of 8m x 10m, and the maximum tent size to fit these is 6m x 4.5m (usually a 6 berth without extra extensions). For detailed information on pitch sizes and help on choosing please read our handy guide in Helpful Information at the bottom of the  page.

Some important details to know before you book with us

  • One unit and one car per pitch means one sleeping accommodation (a unit) i.e. one caravan/tent/trailer tent/folding camper/campervan/motorhome (plus an awning) and one vehicle that you drive and don't sleep in.

  • A pup tent is a small 1 person crawl-in tent for a child under 16 years. There must be enough room on your pitch for this so please check with us if you intend to bring one.

  • A gazebo/event shelter may be used on a large, XL or double pitch booking provided there is room. In very windy weather we may request that it is taken down as they can pose a risk of taking off and causing damage.

  • There is a maximum occupancy of six people per pitch (no more than 4 adults)

  • Any extra cars booked must be parked in the car-park by reception for the duration of your stay and not on your pitch.

  • Bookings can be accepted for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups and singles are not accepted.

  • We accept a maximum of 2 bookings as a group unless by prior arrangement. Please contact us before booking. Any group bookings received online that exceed this limit will unfortunately all be cancelled.

  • Check in is from 2pm in July and August and 12 noon at all other times. Please aim to arrive ideally before 6pm - last check in is 7pm.

  • Please vacate your pitch on your day of departure by 11am

  • We have a quiet time between 11pm - 7am and a no amplified music policy.

  • In high season there is a five night minimum stay for standard pitches and a seven night minimum night stay for our larger pitches.

  • To keep numbers on the park manageable we ask that you aim to meet people off the campsite during the school holidays and bank holidays. At quieter times if you do have a day visitor please pre-book these to ensure there is room in our car-park. There is a £2.50 charge per person for day visitors. Day visitors can not use the pool.

  • Our fire regulations do not permit open fires.

  • The Bottom Field is surrounded by a working farm. It is a beautiful, scenic place to camp but you may hear the baa of the sheep,  mooing of the cows and a daily cock-a-doodle-doo!
