The Campsite

The campsite is set in a scenic, sheltered valley and surrounded by mature trees. We are small and friendly park for families and couples.

There are 42 generous grass pitches of various sizes and 4 all weather pitches. All have electric hook up (min 8 amp majority 16 amp) included in the price.

Our extra large grass pitches are super-sized and you can now choose your pitch online when booking an extra large pitch.

TOP OF THE PARK

Surrounded by elderflower and rowan trees these level grass pitches are popular with caravans, campervans and motorhomes for easy access on and off the site. In this area we also have pitches that adjoin each other suitable for two families holidaying together. This is a great area for couples and dog owners, being closer to the mineral tramway for cycling and dog walks

BY THE BIG TREE

Pitches by the Big Tree are centrally

located, well lit and and close to the shower block.

With lovely views across the valley and a selection of all weather and grass pitches it is a great area for stays throughout the seasons. Families who like being near the facilities love the two large pitches suitable for larger family tents.

BOTTOM FIELD

Loved by families in the summer, the bottom field is a surrounded by mature trees and farmland and provides a safe area for children to play freely. The children's playground is here and there are a variety of pitches sizes to suit larger family tents and caravans.

Great sheltered pitches where you can sit back and enjoy the starry skies at night.

Static Caravans

For those who like the feel of a campsite but want their own facilities we have two static caravans available to rent in the summer months. The static caravans are mature and basic but well cared for, and are ideal for grandparents holidaying with their camping families, or those with a small family.

Each caravan has two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles), shower and toilet, gas fire, tv, gas cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. Pets are allowed in one of the caravans.
